These caps screw on which is great! The older style snap on caps broke easily and popped open when dropped. These have colored lids which make it simple to identify when you drink some and stick the rest in the fridge. They are BPA free which is a plus. So I have to say this is the one product I have ever used that has made such great improvements. I will order more of these.
I love this product. I use it every day. I love not spending as much $$ on bottled water. The ony draw back is that it tastes like drinking tap water. It does have a bit of taste to it, unlike bottled water that has a "non taste". The first few fill ups with a new filter it is more noticable, but that might just be because I didn''t flush the filter enough. But overall it works great. Now I just need to convince my family to start using them.
Also, I like the replacement bottles rather than the ones that come with the unit. I like that the have a screw on cap instead of the pop off cap. I may buy a few extras or see if I can by just the tops.
I would totally recommend this product.

I really like the Filtrete water station and replacement bottles. The water has such a CLEAN taste...better than most bottled water. It is a pain to fill 8 or 10 bottles at a time, but the water is so good, you can''t stop drinking it!

I''m a little disappointed in these bottles. The 4 that come with the kit have an unusual closure, the whole thing snaps down...pretty self explanatory from the photos. Problem is, the seals wear out QUICKLY if you put them even in the top rack of the dishwasher. But These are replacement, or additional bottles and I like that the caps are colored, nice when others are drinking from the bottles, and the plastic is strong and sturdy, been dropped a lot and take a beating. None have broken. My only complaint on these with with nice screw-tops is they are WAY expensive. Dang.
